Every Excell kitchen starts with the cabinetry. We design and build to suit the space — not to fit a flat-pack catalogue. That means accurate measurements, considered proportions, and joinery built by hand in our Melbourne workshop. Materials range from natural timber veneers to spray-finished MDF, polyurethane, or laminate, depending on the brief and the budget.
Benchtops and splashbacks change how a kitchen feels more than any other element. We work with Australian and imported natural stone, engineered stone alternatives (where compliant), porcelain slab, and timber benchtops where the design calls for it. Templating is precise; installation is clean.
Many of the kitchens we renovate aren't broken — they're just laid out for a different decade. We handle layout changes that involve removing internal walls, relocating plumbing and electrical, repositioning ovens and cooktops, and integrating laundries or butler's pantries behind cabinetry. Structural work is engineered and certified.
We work with the appliance brands the client prefers — domestic or commercial-grade. Cabinetry is designed around the appliances, not the other way around. Integrated fridges, panel-ready dishwashers, concealed rangehoods, and pop-up power outlets are standard considerations.
Kitchens involve every trade. Our team coordinates plumbing, electrical, gas-fitting, tiling, painting, and flooring as part of the build — no sub-letting the project to a separate project manager, no surprises about who's doing what.
